If you bank with Santander, you can sign up for Santander Boosts for free and get access to exclusive rewards. But is it worth the bother?
What is Santander Boosts?
Santander Boosts is a rewards scheme offered to Santander debit and credit card holders. It’s essentially a cashback scheme as you’ll earn money back when you spend at certain retailers.
Cashback rates vary between around 1% and 10%, and retailers include Greggs, The Body Shop, Tesco, Decathlon, Toby Carvery, Caffe Nero, plus a range of other retailers in areas such as tech and electronics, health and beauty, baby and kids, food and dining, and travel.
Santander will send you tailored offers that change regularly, and you can enter giveaways and prize draws to be in with a chance of winning prizes such as vouchers to use at selected stores.

Our verdict: Is Santander Boosts worth it?
If you already hold a Santander debit or credit card, you’ve got nothing to lose by signing up to Santander Boosts. It’s free to do so and you could earn cashback whenever you spend at selected retailers, and maybe even win vouchers in the prize draws.
But if you’re currently looking for a new credit card or current account, don’t switch to Santander purely for Santander Boosts, as it won’t be worth it. If you decide to switch to Santander because the overall features of the account or card are the best match, great. But make sure you’ve compared all of your options first.
