What is Equals Money?

Equals Money is part of the Equals Money Group which aims to make it simpler for businesses to manage and move money around the world.

Equals Money prepaid cards are for teams and colleagues to use for business expenses. Companies can add money onto the cards, track who’s spending what and integrate expenses reports with their accounting tools.

How does it work?

With Equals Money, you can order unlimited prepaid Mastercard cards for your whole team. These cards are provided by FairFX.

You can load funds onto these cards or transfer funds between them, and there is no charge for either of these actions. Different user permissions can be added to different cards.

Staff can use the Equals app to create digital receipts and add tags to their spending. They can also use the app to request top-ups, which you can approve at the tap of a button. This makes it simple to keep track of your team’s business spending.

To make things even easier, it’s simple to report VAT on your team’s spending and even sync your cards with accounting software.

What other features are there?

You can send cards to staff who are based overseas if you need to. What’s more, you can make purchases in 20 major currencies without paying an extra fee. These are:

  • Pounds sterling

What fees are applicable?

You’ll pay an account fee of £50 + VAT per year, plus a card issue fee of £10 + VAT per card.

You’ll pay £1.50 for every ATM withdrawal you make.

It’s free to make transactions in the UK and any of the countries using the currencies listed above. In non-supported countries, you’ll be charged a 1.5% out-of-currency fee.

It costs you nothing to top-up your cards or make transfers between them.
