Who is Homelyfe?

Homelyfe is an insurtech start-up company based in the UK. Having launched in 2015, Homelyfe says its aim is to use technology to make buying insurance simple.

It claims to ask fewer questions and can offer customers a quote in less than a minute. Currently it offers both Home Insurance and Home Buyer’s Insurance policies.

What are Homelyfe’s cover options

Homelyfe doesn’t have too many cover options. There is no bronze, silver and gold levels of protection like you get with some other providers. You essentially choose whether you want buildings cover, contents cover, or a combination of the two.

Optional policy extras

Admiral home insurance offers additional cover options for their customers, these include:

  • Accidental damage. You can pay extra to protect yourself for accidental damage to possessions like laptops and bikes.

What is my excess?

  • Voluntary excess. You can voluntarily increase the amount you would pay in excess fees when making a claim. In turn for potentially taking on more of the cost yourself, the provider should lower your premiums.

How much is this going to cost me?
