Residential landlord insurance
Renting out a property can sometimes give you cause to worry, especially when you have invested time and money into the property and its furnishings. Having residential landlord insurance can ease those worries by protecting your property and possessions from damage. This policy’s features include:

  • 0% interest on instalments when you choose to pay monthly.
  • Cover to re-house your tenants after a flood or fire.
  • Buildings insurance to repair or rebuild your property.
Commercial landlord insurance
Renting can be a great way to use an empty property, whether it be residential or commercial. If you are letting a business use your space, whether it be a shop or a restaurant, you still need to make sure that you are covered for any eventuality. This policy includes:

  • Glass and keys replacement cover.
  • Protection for up to 10 properties.
  • Trace and access cover to find the source of leaking pipes.

What is my excess?

An excess is the amount of money that you will be expected to contribute when you make a claim.

The amount of your excess will depend on the claim you are making. Make sure you read your Policy Schedule as information about your excess and the amount you will have to contribute for a claim will be detailed in it.
