The USAA Military Affiliate Cards is a credit card for Americans who have, or are currently serving, in a branch of the US armed forces or in a veteran’s organization. This card allows you to earn points in exchange for several different rewards such as airline travel, cruise ship travel, merchandise, gift cards, cash or charitable contributions.

The basics

This card is an excellent option for building credit. For the first twelve months, a 0% introductory APR is offered. You can choose between a Visa Signature Card or an American Express Card — this will earn you 2x points for purchase of gas and groceries.
