How do I apply for a Wells Fargo card?

To apply for a Wells Fargo credit card, simply do the following:

  1. Visit the Wells Fargo website.
  2. At the top menu bar, hover over Personal.
  3. From the drop-down menu, hover over Banking and credit cards and click on Credit cards from the new drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the type of credit cards you want to view.
  5. Click the Apply now button on the card you want.
  6. Fill out your personal information and click Continue to complete your application.

Unfortunately, Wells Fargo doesn’t offer prequalification at this time.

  • You must be 18 or older.
How many Wells Fargo credit cards can I have?

Wells Fargo doesn’t restrict the number of credit cards you can open with them. However, you can only earn a signup bonus on one of its cards every 15 months.

Wells Fargo deploys advanced features to identify customers, such as Advanced Access for high-risk transactions, two-step verification and biometric authentication for the Wells Fargo app.

When you enter your personal information on the Wells Fargo website, it’s encrypted so it’s unreadable by prying eyes. Wells Fargo may block access to its site if your browser is outdated, as this poses a security risk. If your web session idles, you’ll automatically be logged off.
