Our awards are decided by the only votes that really matter – yours. We partnered with the research consultancy Censuswide to ask customers of breakdown cover providers in the UK to tell us about their experiences. Now we can reveal which providers were rated the best for customer satisfaction.

Green Flag is highly commended this year, with 91% of customers recommending their breakdown cover. People found the cover to be good value for money, as well as having great service.
Our 2026 customer satisfaction league table
We asked customers of the breakdown cover providers featured in this table whether they’d recommend it to a friend and we’ve ordered the table by the percentage score. Our independent survey was carried out in February 2026.

Customer satisfaction ratings methodology
We asked people who’d used a breakdown cover provider within the previous 12 months to rate their satisfaction with the service they received and whether they’d recommend the provider to a friend. Our independent survey of 500 breakdown cover customers was carried out in February 2026.
We have shown the percentage recommended score in the table above and used these ratings to decide the winners of our awards. Where there was a draw on the “would recommend percentage”, we used the overall rating out of 5 as a tie-breaker.
