11 apps like Webull you need to consider

Consider these Webull alternatives if you want more investment options, beginner-friendly investing or just a different investing experience altogether.

Webull is a technology-focused online trading platform that’s growing in popularity in the US. It offers an intuitive user experience and extensive functionality, with many trading tools on par with some of the world’s biggest brokers.

Webull fans appreciate its trading tools and clean interface, though its online customer feedback is largely negative. Frequent complaints center around poor customer service and trouble withdrawing money.

How to transfer your brokerage account

If you’re switching brokers, the account transfer process can vary depending on your current broker and your new one. Your current broker may charge a $50 to $100 fee to transfer funds and close your account. Most brokers use the Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS), so you can generally expect to go through the following process.

  1. You fill out a transfer initiation form with your new broker.
  2. Your current broker validates your form or notifies you of next steps within three business days.
  3. Your old broker completes the transfer process and moves your funds within six business days.
