Israeli multi-asset brokerage company eToro is expected to go public via a merger with a SPAC, FinTech Acquisition Corp. V (FTCV). The deal was pushed back from the third quarter of 2021 to the fourth, and now seems unlikely to be complete before 2022.
A Special Purpose Acquisition Company, or SPAC, is a company formed only to merge with a private venture and take it public.
eToro, a brokerage firm based in Tel Aviv, is looking to go public. The company, which has a $5 billion valuation, has drawn comparisons to Robinhood.
