Blue Global Media, which owns NetLoanUSA, reached a settlement with the FTC for more than $104 million. This is due in large part to its failure to act as a legitimate connection service.
Instead, it sold applications — including users' sensitive personal information — to any buyer without regard to how that information would be used. It also failed to take consumer complaints seriously after their information was misused.
Because of this, both Blue Global Media and its CEO were forced to stop business and file bankruptcy.
Look for alternative lenders and connection services if you need a payday loan.
