There are only a few steps you need to take to add a card to Apple Pay:

  1. Open Apple Wallet on your iPhone and tap the “+” button on the top right.
  2. Choose the type of card you want to add.
  3. Scan the front of your debit or credit card by positioning it in the frame, or you can manually enter your card’s information.
  4. Tap Next.
  5. Verify your information if the card provider requests, which they’ll do by sending you an activation code. If applicable, select your verification method. Once you receive it, enter the code.
