Electric vehicle manufacturer Faraday Future is planning to go public through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), also known as a blank check company. SPACs are companies with no commercial operations that exist purely to raise capital through IPOs. No date has been announced yet.
The SPAC, Property Solutions Acquisition Corporation, originally went public in July 2020, and the SPAC is traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "PSAC."
Property Solutions Acquisition will raise more than $400 million for the transaction, which will value Faraday at $3 billion.
