What is an Integra Credit installment loan?

An Integra Credit installment loan is a type of short-term financing available to residents of nine states. Depending on where you live, you can borrow anywhere from $500 to $3,000 — though residents of California can borrow up to $5,000.

The exact terms you’re offered will depend on both your state of residence and personal financial situation. But in general, installment loans from Integra Credit have terms of 6 to 24 months and APRs that range from 99% to 299%.

What are the benefits of an Integra Credit installment loan?

There are a few perks of taking out an installment loan from Integra Credit, including:

  • May improve your credit score. Integra Credit reports your payments to the credit bureaus, which could improve your credit score if you pay on time each month. However, this also means you could face a lower score if you miss a payment or default.
  • Transparent website. Integra Credit has a detailed page for every state it lends in that lists out how much you can borrow, the APR range and possible loan terms.
  • Multiple ways to contact customer service. Unlike some other lenders, Integra Credit has an easy-to-find Contact us page on its website that details several ways to contact its customer service team, including by phone, email, fax and mail.

What to watch out for

Consider these potential drawbacks before borrowing from Integra Credit:

  • Limited state availability. Integra Credit only lends in nine states: Alabama, California, Delaware, Idaho, Missouri, New Mexico, South Carolina, Utah and Wisconsin.
  • Smaller amounts not available everywhere. Depending on where you live, you could face a minimum loan amount of $2,000 or more.
  • May receive multiple marketing offers. Integra Credit uses information from your credit report to market refinancing offers and other products to you, which can lead to unsolicited emails and phone calls.

Beware of high interest rates

Like most short-term financing options, Integra Credit’s installment loans come with high APRs.

Ranging from 99% to 299%, you could end up paying hundreds of dollars in interest — even if you only borrow a small amount over a few months’ time. And larger loans of $2,000 or more can cost over $10,000 if you have the highest APR and longest term.

Before taking out an installment loan, you might want to consider your short-term loan alternatives first. And if you only need a small amount, a payday loan could be another option. While they also come with high interest rates, you’ll end up paying less in interest with the shorter term.

Is it safe to apply with Integra Credit?

In general, yes, though no company can ensure all of the information you enter online stays 100% safe. Integra Credit does its part by using a 256-bit SSL encryption system to safeguard your personal details.

Alongside its easy-to-find contact information, it has a standard privacy policy that covers how it collects and shares your personal information as well as how you can limit that sharing. However, Integra Credit may use your credit score — alongside other personal information — to send you marketing materials.

What does the Internet say about Integra Credit?

Integra Credit doesn’t have its own Better Business Bureau (BBB) page, but its parent company does. Deinde Financial has been accredited with the BBB since 2018 and earns an A+ rating. However, it doesn’t have any customer reviews or complaints listed as of January 2019.

Its Trustpilot page is more robust, scoring a 9.3 out of 10 based on nearly 80 customer reviews. Of those, almost 90% rate it as “Excellent.” Most of the positive reviews revolve around its fast funding and competitive rates.

The lender’s only negative review was written by someone who received a preapproval offer in the mail, only to get denied when they completed the full application. This isn’t unusual, however. Preapproval with any lender doesn’t guarantee you’ll ultimately get offered a loan.

Am I eligible?

To qualify for a loan from Integra Credit, you must:

  • Have a verifiable bank account and email address.
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be at least 18 years old — 19 in Alabama.

How do I apply?

You can apply for an installment loan either online or over the phone. Follow these steps to apply online:

  1. Visit Integra Credit’s website and click Check loan options.
  2. Create an account by entering your full name, email and phone number.
  3. Select your state of residence and how much you want to borrow.
  4. Read its terms of use and privacy policies. Click Get started.
  5. Complete the form with details about yourself, your income and your bank account.
  6. Click Check my loan options to submit the application.

If you submit your application and it’s approved before 6 p.m. CT, Integra Credit may be able to deposit your funds into your bank account as soon as the next business day. Otherwise, it may take two or more days to get your money.

What information do I need to provide?

Have these details on hand to speed up the application process:

  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license or state ID number
  • Monthly rent or mortgage payment
  • Monthly income and how often you’re paid
  • Bank account and routing numbers

I got an Integra Credit installment loan. Now what?

Once you have your loan funds, it’s time to start thinking about repayments. The easiest way is to sign up for autopay from your bank account. This way, you won’t have to worry about making a payment each month.

If you’re late or have insufficient funds in your account, you have a 10-day grace period before Integra Credit charges a late fee. The exact fee you’re charged depends on your state’s laws.

Keep an eye on your bank account and loan balance. If you have any questions or notice something off, reach out to Integra Credit’s customer service team by emailing support@IntegraCredit.com or calling 855-345-5550. Its representative are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. CT and Saturday from 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m. CT.

Bottom line

Integra Credit’s installment loans are ideal if you’re looking for a short-term loan with clearly outlined terms. And since it reports to the credit bureaus, you may even be able to improve your credit score by making on-time payments.

However, it’s not available in all states. And you may not be able to borrow a small amount depending on where you live.
