We reveal why our panel thinks Shiba Inu will be worth US$0.00000959 by the end of 2022 before rising to US$0.00004930 by 2025.
Finder surveyed a panel of 55 fintech specialists in October for their thoughts on how Shiba Inu will perform over the next few years. All prices mentioned in this report are in US dollars.
SHIB is set to end 2022 at $0.00000959, according to Finder’s panel of fintech specialists. This is 49% lower than the panel’s price prediction from April 2022.
The panel expects the token's value to continue its ascent and be worth $0.00004930 to close out 2025.
Alexander Kuptsikevich from FxPro offers an optimistic price target of $0.00001329 by 2022’s end. By 2025, Kuptsikevich sees SHIB exchanging hands at $0.0001. He says:
“This is just one of many memecoins. It is unlikely to roar as it did in 2021, although it can ride the future waves of the crypto market.”
Unocoin Technologies CEO Sathvik Vishwanath is one of the few panelists who gave a hold rating on SHIB and a price target of $0.00001 by the end of 2022. He says, “[SHIB] can be a good investment. The growth potential is over 100% in the next few years. However, it is better to buy a Shiba Inu in moderate quantities because the project has not yet found its true value.”
”SHIB is even more difficult to predict than its more dominant peers, Bitcoin and Ether,” says Kunal Sawhney, the CEO of Kalkine Group. “This is because SHIB is a meme or a joke token, no matter what the project claims about the new blockchain Shibarium or the stablecoin.” Sawhney doesn’t see any fundamental value for SHIB just yet.
The majority (69%) are unsure how the Shibarium update will affect transaction costs and speed. 16% think SHIB will get both lower cost and increased speed while 6% think only speed will increase. Another 6% expect only the transaction cost will drop while the remaining 3% think the update won’t affect transaction costs or speed.
Half of our panelists (50%) are unsure how the Shibarium update will affect SHIB’s price. 22% believe there will be no impact on price while a quarter (25%) of the panel think the update will positively affect it. Only 3% think the update will have a significant negative impact on SHIB’s price.
We asked our panel which Shiba Inu project will best help increase SHIB adoption. The majority (56%) are unsure while 19% said no project could help SHIB. 9% said SHIB stablecoin and another 9% said the Shibarium update are the projects that will increase adoption. 3% expect it’s the Doggy DAO and another 3% think it’s ShibaSwap 2.0.
