For investors looking to buy Shell shares, it offers exposure to oil and gas profits while hedging against the green transition with some innovative investments. However, regulatory pressures and the long-term shift away from fossil fuels could impact its growth trajectory if it can’t adapt to pressure from society and the climate. Before investing, you should compare Shell with other similar companies.
