Editor's choice: LendYou Short-term Loans

- Funds as early as same day
- Loans up to $15,000
- No collateral required
LendYou works with multiple types of lenders, including those that offer payday loans and personal loans in addition to installment lonas. It’s a member of the Online Lenders Alliance, and you may be able to borrow up to $15,000 — higher than CashUSA’s maximum.
Like CashUSA, you could get your loan in as little as one day through a bank direct deposit. Borrowers are required to have a minimum monthly income of $1,000 to be connected with a lender for a payday loan, installment loan or larger personal loan. But only those with fair credit are awarded with higher loan amounts.
Unlike Cash USA, Bad Credit Loans can connect you with lenders for anything from personal, business, student loans and more. But the lenders in its network only offer loans between $500 to $10,000, and terms are shorter, lasting only 3 to 36 months.
If you need more than $10,000 or want to take more time to pay off your loan, then BadCreditLoans.com may not be the right connection service for you.
Unlike CashUSA, OppLoans is a direct lender rather than a connection service. It offers installment loans with terms from 9 to 24 months. You can borrow as little as $500 and up to $5,000 — much less than CashUSA’s $10,000 maximum. It also reports to to the three credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. So paying on time can help improve your credit score.
Since Opploans is a direct lender, your personal information won’t be sent to other lenders. It shows its commitment to helping people become financially independent by offering courses on financial education, scholarships for college students and a blog discussing a number of financial topics. But it still has a minimum income requirement of $1,300 to $3,600. And if you’re unable to make a payment on time, your credit score might take a hit.
The affiliates in Slam Dunk Loans’ network offer short-term loans of $100 to $50,000, a lower maximum limit than CashUSA. But unlike CashUSA, Slam Dunk Loans lets potential borrowers request a lender connection over the phone in addition to filling out an online form. If you’re someone without a stable Internet connection or want to speak directly with a customer service agent, this could be a huge benefit.
Like CashUSA, Slam Dunk Loans’ affiliates require you to have a minimum income. At $800 a month, it’s lower than CashUSA’s $1,000 minimum. You’ll just have to make sure you live in one of its serviced states. Slam Dunk Loans doesn’t offer loans to residents of Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia or West Virginia.
HonestLoans may be a connection service like CashUSA, but you’ll only be able to borrow between $400 to $50,000. This can be convenient if you only need a small loan, but frustrating if you have a larger expense that a lender in HonestLoans’ network won’t be able to cover.
You’ll also have to meet more stringent requirements than with HonestLoans. You must be employed, have a regular source of income of at least $800 a month and have a checking account. And unlike CashUSA, HonestLoans doesn’t offer loans to all 50 states. If you live in Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia or New York, you’ll have to look for another lender.
NetCredit also offers personal loans as high as $10,000 to qualified borrowers. But unlike CashUSA, NetCredit is a direct lender and it reports your loan payments to Experian and TransUnion, giving you a chance to build your credit. But be careful: If you’re unable to make a payment, you could harm your credit score.
You won’t have to meet a minimum monthly income to qualify for a loan. It also has a My Choice Guarantee, which allows you to return your loan within two business days if your plans change. However, it serves a limited number of states. Residents of Alabama, California, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin don’t qualify.
