Raspberry Pi stock is now publicly available to purchase. Here's how you can buy stocks.
Before you can invest in Raspberry Pi, you'll need to open a brokerage account.
It’s definitely exciting to see an innovative British company list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), but it’s hard to predict what will happen next. Raspberry Pi (RPI) shares were received positively by institutional and retail investors, however, our IPO research suggests there’s likely to be plenty of volatility over the coming weeks, and months (and possibly years). The performance of Raspberry Pi shares will be determined by its financial performance moving forward, but wider market conditions will also play a role. If inflation remains at manageable levels and the base rate lowers, this could act as a positive catalyst for the shares. If this happens, investors pay more attention to the stock market as discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis looks more appealing and it becomes cheaper for Raspberry Pi to borrow money to fuel future growth.
It's impossible to predict how any stock will perform — and IPOs can be particularly volatile. But evaluating the performance of companies like Raspberry Pi can be useful in determining how the market is performing and whether now is a good time to invest in this industry. Select a company to learn more about what it does and how its stock performs, including market capitalisation, the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, price/earnings-to-growth (PEG) ratio and dividend yield. While this list includes a selection of the most well-known and popular stocks, it doesn't include every stock available.
All investing should be regarded as longer term. The value of your investments can go up and down, and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. If you’re not sure which investments are right for you, please seek out a financial adviser. Capital at risk.
