Does Bluevine Have Zelle?

No, Bluevine is not currently compatible with Zelle.

Zelle is a popular peer-to-peer (P2P) payment service that lets you send and receive money within minutes using just an email address or phone number. This P2P payment service works with over 2,200 banks and credit unions — but it doesn’t work with fintechs like Bluevine.

Bluevine is not directly compatible with Zelle

Bluevine accounts are not compatible with Zelle, since Zelle has not been made available to customers of fintech companies like Bluevine.

If you need to make peer-to-peer transfers with a Bluevine account, you’ll have to use an alternative such as ACH transfers, wire transfers or a third-party app like PayPal, Venmo or Cash App.

Can I connect my Bluevine account to Zelle?

No. Zelle has discontinued its standalone app, which means you can only use Zelle through a participating bank’s mobile app or online banking platform. If your bank isn’t on Zelle’s official partner list, you won’t be able to use the service. So in this case, you can’t connect a Bluevine account to Zelle.

If you’re still in the market for a business account that supports Zelle, NBKC Business Checking is a free option worth considering.

How to set up Zelle

Though Bluevine doesn’t work with Zelle, many other banks like Chase and SoFi® do. Here’s what the setup typically looks like once you open an account with a participating bank or credit union:

  1. Download your bank’s mobile app or log in to online banking.
  2. Find Zelle in the payments or transfers menu.
  3. Enroll with your email address or US mobile number.
  4. Link your checking account and verify the information.
  5. Start sending or receiving money.

Alternatives to Zelle

Since Bluevine isn’t compatible with Zelle, here are some other ways to send or receive money quickly:

  • Cash App. Cash App is one of the most popular P2P payment apps, and it lets you send and receive money instantly and split bills with friends. You can also get a debit card that’s connected to your Cash App balance., https://www.finder.com/send-money-online/cash-app
  • Venmo. Venmo, owned by PayPal, is also great for P2P transfers. It’s popular for splitting rent, paying for meals or reimbursing friends with fast and easy money transfers., https://www.finder.com/send-money-online/venmo
  • Apple Pay. Apple Pay is a secure way for iPhone users to send money directly through the Messages app. You could also use it to make contactless purchases in stores.

If you prefer to use Zelle, you’ll need to open a deposit account with a Zelle-compatible bank.

Bottom line

Bluevine does not support Zelle, so you can’t use the service to send or receive money from your Bluevine account. If Zelle is a must for you, check out these top banks that support Zelle.
