Bitcoin Price Predictions: July 2025
Ether (ETH) price predictions for 2025, 2030 and 2035
ETH’s price is expected to rise to $4,308 by year-end 2025, according to the average prediction from Finder’s panellists. This prediction is a little more bullish than their end-of-2025 prediction of $4,153 in the April 2025 report.
The panellists also predict ETH will hit $10,882 by 2030 and $22,374 by 2035. Just like with their 2025 prediction, the panel is slightly more bullish than their average predictions from our April 2025 survey, when they projected ETH to reach $9,495 by 2030 and $17,042 by 2035.
Johnny Gabriele, head analyst of blockchain economics and AI integration at the Lifted Initiative, is one of our more bullish panel members, predicting ETH to hit $10,000 in 2025 and compares Ethereum to “other global assets like oil.”
Bitget CEO, Gracy Chen, says that Ethereum is the backbone of DeFi and institutional interest, and Ethereum’s scalable layer-2 solutions should bolster its prospects.
The price predictions stem from its role as the backbone of DeFi, with growing adoption in RWA tokenisation projected to reach $16 trillion by 2030, and its increasing use in payment systems due to faster transaction speeds post-Dencun upgrade. Strong institutional interest and Ethereum’s scalable layer-2 solutions further bolster its outlook.
Ben Ritchie, the managing director of Alpha Node Global, provides an above-average prediction for ETH in 2025 at $6,000 and also mentions institutional interest.
Our view is based on the strong growth in institutional interest, particularly via the ETH spot ETF (exchange-traded fund), and Ethereum’s expanding role in hosting real-world assets (RWAs). Put simply, RWAs require solid, reliable core infrastructure, and Ethereum and the EVM have proved over time to be the sector leader.
Josh Fraser, cofounder of Origin Protocol, is fairly bullish on ETH’s potential in 2025 with a prediction of $9,000 and says that ETH has the potential to flip Bitcoin’s market capitalisation over the long term.
Ethereum is the world’s computer. Its use cases are essentially unlimited, and ether has the potential to flip Bitcoin’s market capitalisation over the long term. Demand from ETFs, paired with ETH locked for staking, makes it likely we see further upside in 2025.
At the other end of the spectrum is John Hawkins, senior lecturer at the University of Canberra, with a projection of $1,500.
While Ethereum is more technically advanced and less environmentally irresponsible than Bitcoin, its price is highly correlated with that of BTC.
How high and low will ether (ETH) go in 2025?
Our panellists predict that ETH’s average peak price in 2025 will be $4,746, with some predicting it will climb as high as $14,260.
Over two-fifths (43%) of our panellists feel that ETH’s price will rise into the $2,000 to $3,999 range at its highest before the close of 2025, while a third (33%) believe we’ll see ETH’s price within the $4,000 to $5,999 range within the same time frame.
CEO of Morpher, Martin Froehler, is really bullish on ETH’s prospects in 2025, seeing it hit $7,500 as it is the chosen one for real-world asset tokenisation.
Ethereum is the most decentralised blockchain out there and the chosen one for real-world asset tokenisation.
Nicole DeCicco, the CEO of CryptoConsultz, provides a max prediction right in this zone at $5,200 and says ETH should be here for the long haul based on the institutional players that have bought in.
Ethereum remains one of the most reliable and widely used platforms in crypto, especially when it comes to real-world adoption. The recent Pectra upgrade brought needed improvements to transaction speed, wallet security and validator performance. Its infrastructure is being used by BlackRock, PayPal and other large players that wouldn’t be betting on it if it didn’t have staying power. Between that adoption and continued progress on scaling, Ethereum still has plenty of room to grow.
Low-end predictions
The average lowest price our panellists predict ETH will hit in 2025 is $1,940, with some predicting it will fall as low as $1,390.
Over half of the panel (52%) think ETH’s price bottom for the remainder of the year is somewhere between $2,000 and $2,249 in 2025.
Ruadhan O, the founder of Seasonal Tokens, says that a lot in 2025 has been working against the token in 2025 and predicts ETH could drop to $2,000 before the year is out.
ETH dropped to $2,200 when the recent war broke out, indicating that it doesn’t have as much support as BTC at current prices. It has dropped 40% since its post-election high in December, and it’s unlikely to reach $4,000 in the remaining part of 2025 in the absence of unexpected good news in the coming months.
Daniel Keller, CEO of InFlux Technologies, says that stagnant gas prices could negatively impact ETH’s price in 2025 with a predicted bottom of $1,500.
ETH is currently oversold with room to drive up in price. However, this could be negatively impacted by unchanging gas prices, hence my prediction for a small upward trajectory by the end of 2025.
Is now the time to buy, hold or sell ether (ETH)?
ETH is trading below the highs of January 2025, which is probably why 57% of the panel say it’s time to buy ether, with 26% saying it’s a hold and 17% believing it’s a good time to sell.
Ruslan Lienkha, the chief of markets at YouHodler, says ETH is a buy as ethereum is the leading blockchain for stablecoin issuance.
Ethereum remains the leading blockchain for stablecoin issuance and non-financial use cases within the broader economy. It also continues to be the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation and is generally considered less centralised compared to its closest competitors.
Miles Paschini, the CEO of FV Bank, says ETH is a hold as it’s “still the dominant decentralised network and strong usage across domains and L2 (Layer 2) support.”
Joseph Raczynski, a futurist at JT Consulting & Media, is also in the hold camp saying:
70% of the volume of stablecoin transactions is in the Ethereum ecosystem, including the top two: Circle (USDC) and Tether USDT. With the passage of the GENIUS Act, most companies in the US will have new rails to onboard the masses. This is an underestimated pivotal moment. In time, this will have a major positive impact on ETH.
Desmond Marshall, the managing director of Rouge International and Rouge Ventures, says ETH is a sell, having nothing nice to say about the token.
ETH has always been a disappointment. Good times or bad times, it floats around a max of $2,600. I’ve been vocal about how heavily manipulated ETH is, and it is functional as a token … it is a useless financial asset.
Is ether (ETH) overpriced, underpriced or priced fairly?
A little over two-fifths (43%) say that ethereum is currently underpriced, with the remaining panel members either saying it’s fairly priced (35%) or overpriced (22%).
Kadan Stadelmann, CTO at Komodo Platform, says that while ETH’s price is somewhat dependent upon what BTC is doing, institutional adoption and ETF should help drive its price up and is underpriced at the moment.
Despite the progress and growth the market has seen in the last few years, ether is still an altcoin that largely follows Bitcoin. ETF news and institutional interest in Ethereum will continue to drive market activity up as we enter the final phase of this bull run.
John Murillo, the chief business officer of B2BROKER, says ETH is priced fairly:
Ethereum faces increasing challenges and competition from the cheaper DeFi protocols like Solana, Stellar, Uniswap and some other coins. I’m a bit skeptical that the ongoing upgrades (first and foremost, Pectra and Danksharding), without solving the issue of increasingly discouraging high cost of gas, are sufficient to beef up ETH’s good standing and future performance. Having said that, ETH, of course, remains a prominent cryptocurrency, which means it will, in any case, participate in the broader market movements.
Mitesh Shah, the founder and CEO of Omnia Markets, says that the launch of ETFs, along with the growth of the RWA market, means ETH is appropriately priced.
The recent launch of spot ETFs has already attracted over $4.2 billion in cumulative net inflows, creating a significant and persistent source of new demand for the asset. This is occurring as the tokenised real-world asset (RWA) market on Ethereum has grown to over $24 billion, cementing its role as the primary settlement layer for this multi-trillion-dollar opportunity. This growing utility, combined with the network’s deflationary token burn mechanism and a clear technical roadmap, provides a strong basis for a positive long-term valuation.
What’s driving the institutional adoption of Ethereum?
Ethereum continues to remain a staple blockchain for institutional players despite competition from ecosystems like Solana, with more than 50 non-crypto enterprises, including global financial leaders like BlackRock, PayPal and Deutsche Bank, building on Ethereum and its L2s.
But what is driving this institutional adoption of Ethereum?
Almost every panel member (92%) says that broader integration of Ethereum-based solutions in traditional finance (e.g., tokenised assets, stablecoins, RWAs) has led to ETH’s widespread institutional adoption, with 71% saying that it’s because of the launch of ETH ETFs.
What is your view on the future of decentralised AI on Ethereum?
Decentralised AI platforms on Ethereum are starting to come forward, but are reportedly struggling to compete with centralised services due to technical and economic challenges.
The panel is pretty evenly split on their opinions on the future of decentralised AI on Ethereum, with a third of the panel (33%) presenting a neutral outlook, saying both models will coexist, serving different needs.
A touch less (29%) are optimistic about AI platforms on Ethereum, saying advancements will overcome current challenges, with another 29% being skeptical, thinking that centralised platforms will maintain dominance.
