The Dodge Ram 1500 has added a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine option to its 2020 lineup. Known as the 1500 EcoDiesel, it offers 480 pound-feet of torque with a half-ton towing capacity of over 12,000 lbs.

It also includes unlimited roadside assistance, which allows you to skip that coverage on your insurance policy.

Recalls. Dodge has issued recalls on nearly 300,000 Ram 1500 models in both 2019 and 2020 models due to an issue with the front passenger airbag. It’s reasonable to expect the EcoDiesel 1500 to face similar recalls in the future.
