APENFT is a blockchain-based project seeking to address many of the pain points currently affecting the global non-fungible token (NFT) market. The project’s main goal is to act as a ‘bridge’ between world-class artworks and the utilisation of blockchain technology.
Since its inception in Q1 2021, the project has registered a number of world-class artworks as NFTs on its native decentralized ledger.
Built in conjunction with the Tron and Ethereum blockchains, the platform sources and subsequently acquires well-known traditional artworks and transfers them across as NFT tokens. APENFT currently offers a large number of high profile art pieces by artists including Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and Beeple. The platform then allows all users to own fractionalized pieces of these paintings with the touch of a button. Alongside the acquisition and fractionalisation program, the project is working towards improving the NFT trading standards that are currently in place all over the world today. As per the official APENFT whitepaper, the project provides assistance to government agencies, universities, and lawyers to devise administrative frameworks that can help facilitate the healthy development of the global NFT ecosystem. NFT is the cryptocurrency token that supports APENFT. Token holders can vote on platform development, share profits and enter VIP platform events. The token is native to the Tron blockchain but can also be exchanged on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain and Huobi ECO blockchains.
