Pheabs rates, fees and terms
Because Pheabs is a connection service, it doesn't list the rates or fees the lenders in its network charge. You may be able to use it to find a lender that offers up to $35,000 — although when filling out its online form, we received an error when trying to request a loan of more than $1,000.
Loan terms also vary by lender, and Pheabs isn't quite clear what this will look like on its website — which lists terms starting at three or 12 months. When we reached out, a representative clarified that terms range from one to 60 months.
What is Pheabs and is it legit?
Yes, Pheabs is a legit connection service. It has a secure website with a clear privacy policy and terms of service.
But as upfront as these documents are, they do have a few red flags you should be aware of. Pheabs doesn't give you a way to contact it to stop sharing your personal information, and it explicitly states that you must use an arbitration service if you run into problems with its service. In addition, its privacy policy states that you waive your right to file a claim with the FTC or other federal or state agency if you are unhappy with the number of marketing calls or emails you receive.
When we called its number, we received an automated service that asked us to enter a few basic details before abruptly hanging up. This gives you limited ways to contact Pheabs if something goes wrong, so keep that in mind if you decide to use it to find a lender.

Like many connection services, Pheabs doesn't have a page with Trustpilot or the Better Business Bureau. This isn't uncommon, but it does make it more difficult to know the quality of the lenders in its network. If you're unsure, browse reviews of the lenders you're connected with to confirm that they meet your expectations.

How do I get started?
Pheabs has a short online form that allows you to submit your information in just a few minutes. You can access it by selecting the Get my rates button on this page or by visiting its website. Choose your desired loan amount and loan term, then select Get started.
In our experience, it took less than 15 minutes to complete — but it took quite a while for Pheabs to process the information we submitted and show a result.
What are my repayment options?
Since Pheabs isn't a direct lender, you won't repay your loan through it. Instead, review your loan contract and reach out to the lender you've been connected with to confirm payment due dates and repayment options. It states that most lenders should collect payments from your bank account automatically. But for loans with shorter terms, the exact due date and payment schedule will depend on your lender.
If working with Pheabs isn't up your alley, consider contacting a direct lender or another connection service instead.
