Yes! Currys has slashed prices of up to 40% off thousands of products, including laptops, tablets, phones and cameras, as well a household appliances like microwaves and fridge freezers.
No. The deals will be available both online and in-store. You can reserve or order items online to pick up in-store, or opt for home delivery. Otherwise, you can visit a Currys store to get what you want, right then and there.
Currys offers a flexible credit scheme where you can spread the cost of a purchase over £99 from 12 to 36 months. However, there is interest on this option – 24.9% APR representative (variable). This means your overall total payment will come out as more than the original price of the product.
No deposit is required nor are there any early payment fees.
An alternative way to pay is through PayPal’s Pay in 3 service. This allows you to split the total cost of your basket into 3 equal payments over 2 months (the first payment is taken at checkout). There are no late fees nor interest on Pay in 3 but it’s crucial that you’re able to pay on time as you cannot pause, suspend or skip payments. PayPal reports how customers are managing these accounts to credit reference agencies, which means if you skip payments, you could end up damaging your credit score.
Currys already has hundreds of Black Friday deals live on its website but expect more to be added in the run up to 25 November. If you’re planning on going in person on Black Friday, be sure to check the opening times for your local store. You’ll want to get in quick to bag the best bargains!
