Our verdict
This loan service may connect you to lenders, but you could be solicited for debt relief and other credit products.
BadCreditLoans.com is a connection service that offers short-term loans from $500 to $10,000, and there is no minimum credit score to apply. It gives borrowers the opportunity to review multiple loan options with one application and no hard credit check. However, you could receive a lot of unsolicited offers for products like debt relief and credit repair instead of loans, depending on your qualifications. The website doesn’t provide many loan details, such as the range of APRs and lenders it works with.
Best for: Borrowers with bad credit who need a fast loan.
Pros
-
Loans up to $10,000
-
No hard credit check to apply
-
Terms up to 72 months
Cons
-
Doesn’t reveal range of rates
-
May not receive a loan offer
-
Could result in excessive solicitation
Is BadCreditLoans.com legit?
It appears that BadCreditLoans.com is a legitimate service offering short-term loans. It’s been around for more than 10 years and has some positive reviews. But that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily your best option. Some customers complain that the company is selling their information, resulting in excessive solicitation or just being kicked to other loan connection services.
If your credit isn’t the best, you may want to explore our list of top installment loan lenders or other personal loans for borrowers with bad credit. For loan amounts under $1,000, consider cash advance apps, which don’t charge interest and never check your credit.
What makes BadCreditLoans.com shine?
BadCreditLoans.com connects borrowers with installment loans up to $10,000, which is more than typical installment loans that usually top out around $3,000 to $5,000. It also offers flexible loan terms from 90 days to 72 months. And there’s no minimum credit score to apply, making it an option for borrowers with a range of credit scores.
Where BadCreditLoans.com falls short
Unfortunately, BadCreditLoans doesn’t reveal the rates borrowers may be charged. Most legit lenders usually offer at least a range of APRs to give you an idea of what you might pay.
It also doesn’t provide many other loan details and likely sells your contact information to third-party businesses.

How we picked theseWhat is the Finder Score?
The Finder Score crunches 3+ types of short-term loans across 65+ lenders. It takes into account the product's interest rate, fees and features, as well as the type of loan eg investor, variable, fixed rate - this gives you a simple score out of 10.

BBB rating | C+ |
BBB customer complaints | 2 customer complaints |
Trustpilot Score | 3.6 out of 5 stars, based on 20 customer reviews |

BadCreditLoans has a Better Business Bureau (BBB) page, but no reviews and only one complaint, which was clearly someone taken in by a scammer using this company’s name. It only has 20 reviews on Trustpilot, which is odd since reviews date back as far as 2014.
Satisfied customers say the application process is easy and straightforward, and funding is quick. But others complain that all this site does is have you provide your information and then sends you on to other loan search engines. Some also say that applying resulted in excessive solicitation from third-party vendors.

Frequently asked questions
Will applying with BadCreditLoans.com hurt my credit?
No. Only a soft credit check is required to apply, which won’t impact your credit score. But if you decide to proceed with a loan offer, the lender may conduct a hard credit check, which may temporarily lower your score.
Do loans from BadCreditLoans help me build credit?
They might. Most lenders — but not all — report your payment history to the major credit bureaus, which can help you build credit if you consistently make on-time payments.

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for getting in touch with Finder! The approval process for this lender is typically quick. Once you’ve been connected with a lender, you’ll be able to submit your application and see if you’ve been approved for a short-term loan. If you want to contact the lender, you can go to the part of the page that says “How do I contact BadCreditLoans.com if I have a question?” You can find the company contact information there.
As a friendly reminder, review the eligibility criteria of the loan before applying to increase your chances of approval. Read up on the terms and conditions and product disclosure statement and contact the bank should you need any clarifications about the policy.
Hope this helps!
With care,
Nikki

I recently was notified of being approved for a high amount loan here in Florida by a company in California. The interest is right and loan using term is 36 months. So also seems right. But when I try to Google this company using their site on their paperwork nothing under their name comes back. What should I do with this?

Our guide on how to avoid a personal loan scam is a good reference to protect yourself from two common scams you might encounter when applying for a personal loan.
I hope this helps.

I started my application with Bad Credit Loans, however I don’t want to give out my employer’s phone number. I entered a fictional number. If they want proof of my employment I can email them my last pay stub (scanned).
Some of the questions are very personal, and I am always afraid of scams. Another question they have on the application is about my checking account information. They say it’s for the lenders to know where to deposit the money IF I get approved (very fishy!)
Should I call them directly, instead of finishing the application online?

Hi Jane,
Thank you for reaching out to finder! It seems like you have already selected a lender for this. Online applications are secure so long as you go directly to the site of the lender. If you are half-hearted about completing the application online, then yes you can call them directly instead of placing fictional information that might affect the application.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Val
