COVID-19 tests when visiting Indonesia from England

Find out what tests you'll need to arrange before you depart.

Indonesia is not on the UK government red list, and comes under "Rest of world". If you have not been fully vaccinated, you will need to take a pre-departure test to re-enter England (excludes children aged 18 and under), pre-book day 2 and day 8 PCR tests for after your return, and can additionally choose to take a day 5 "Test to release", which, if negative, will mean you can end your self-isolation at that point (you will still need to take the day 8 test, however). If you have been fully vaccinated*, you must simply arrange a day 2 test for after your return from Indonesia (these must be booked and paid for before you arrive in the UK)

Before you go, check the entry requirements for getting into Indonesia.

We're updating this page regularly, but still strongly advise that you confirm the latest travel requirements at gov.uk.
