Well, there’s no need to wonder any more, as we’ve done the digging around to find the average petrol prices in 167 countries around the world. So, if you need to create a road trip budget or just want to compare some data, you’ve come to the right place.

From the available data, Sudan is currently the cheapest country to roam around the streets in an automobile, as it currently sells petrol at the bargain price of £0.19 per litre. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the UK comes in at 23 out of 167 on the list, with the price at £1.27 per litre, while Hong Kong and Bermuda win the price for the most expensive petrol in the world, asking for no less than £1.68 and £1.73 per litre respectively.
