The verdict: Reebok One GT30 vs GT40S
As the name would suggest, the GT40S is a superior running machine to the GT30. Perhaps the most significant difference is that extra 0.5 horsepower (and that’s “continuous” horsepower, which is a more realistic benchmark than “peak” horsepower). This means that the motor doesn’t have to work as hard – which in turn usually means that it runs more quietly and may cope better with sustained use.
Combined with a higher build quality, this realistically is probably enough to justify the extra cost. However, the GT40S sits right next to the extremely popular Jet range of Reebok treadmills and if you can stretch to one of these, we think they’re a good bet.
