Prague airport is small, with just two terminals to navigate. You can access either terminal by any entrance, so no need to worry about showing up at the exact right place, you can’t get lost there. You will only need to be at the airport 1.5 – 2 hours before your flight, wait times are never usually very long, especially for people who hole an EU passport.

There is also a lookout terrace, with a cafe, at the connecting point between the terminals for those who would want to watch aircraft land and take off.

How to get from the airport:

Prague airport is 16km away from Prague, and there is no direct train connection, so it is important to now how to get from the airport to where you are staying. The only budget option for an airport transfer is the public busses.

For the quickest transport to the city centre it is advised you use bus route number 119 or 100 to get you to the closest metro station. Route number 119 will get you to Nádraží Veleslavín, the last stop on the bus, where you can transfer to metro line A. Route 100 will take you to Zličín, where you can transfer to metro line B. Both routes will take you approximately 20 minutes.

It is also worth noting that if you are arriving after 11pm, you might not be able to travel by public transport, as the last bus is at 11:40pm
