Which airlines fly to Alicante?

Holidaymakers for Alicante should go to the Alicante–Elche Airport, the main airport serving the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia. Airlines flying directly from the UK are: British Airways, Vueling Airlines, Ryanair, Aer Lingus, easyJet, Jet2, Norwegian, Norwegian Air International, Monarch, Flybe, Thomson Airways, Thomas Cook Airlines and Blue Air.
KLM, Iberia, SAS, Lufthansa, Finnair, Brussels Airlines, eurowings, SWISS, TAP Portugal, Air Europa, Austrian Airlines, TAROM and WOW air also fly to Alicante, but not directly from the UK.

What airport transfer options are available?

The Alicante TRAM offers metropolitan and regional trains and trams along the Costa Blanca, between the cities of Alicante, Benidorm and Denia. City buses (routes 1A, 1B & C6) connect the airport with the centre of Alicante, and intercity buses connect the airport to the towns of Torrellano, Elche, Benidorm, Calpe, Santa Pola, Guardamar and Torrevieja, and the city of Murcia. Taxis are also available, and can be booked in advance or upon arrival at the airport.

What car hire options are available?

Several companies operate out of Alicante-Elche Airport, and you can book before you arrive or get a car at the desk there. However, be weary that Alicante gets busy in the summer, so make sure to book your car in advance. Available companies are: Centauro, Hertz, Goldcar Rental, Sixt, Record Go, Europcar and Avis.
