Hello,
My fiance is currently in Slovakia (where she’s from) and I need to transfer money from my United States account directly to her. I installed the Transferwise app and the option to send to Slovakia is not there. Does this mean I cannot utilize the app for money transfers?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Matthew
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for getting in touch with Finder. I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you are having.
Upon checking, Transferwise allows you to send money to Slovakia, but it only allows you to do so in Euro currency. For this reason, you can still carry on with your money transfer by using your recipient’s account information. Simply choose Europe instead of Slovakia.
If this still won’t work, you can also directly get in touch with Transferwise to obtain a more personalised answer.
I hope this helps. Should you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach us out again.
Have a wonderful day!
Cheers,
Joshua
