      Hi Tony,

Thank you for getting in touch with Finder.

Please note that the processing time for a money transfer depends on how you send the money, the provider you choose, and where you send the funds. Our review on wire transfers says international money transfer to a bank account usually takes up to 5 business days.

      I hope this helps.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,
      Jeni

How the money is transferred through Ria money transfer? Is it necessary to mention address of the receiver? If the receiver’s address mismatches with his/her government issued ID card address then whether he/she can receive the amount or not?

      Hi Garv,

Thank you for getting in touch with Finder.

To transfer money through Ria, you need to sign up for a Ria account first. You will need to know your recipient’s first and last name as shown on their government-issued ID, address, and phone number. If you decide to deposit money directly into your recipient’s account, you will need his or her bank account and routing number. However, if you choose to have your recipient pickup cash, you will need to select a local, preferred payout location. Your recipient will need the PIN number provided to you, as well as a valid ID to show when picking up the money transfer. Their name on the ID must match that on the money transfer.

      I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other inquiries.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,
      Jeni

      Hi Lany,

Thanks for leaving a question on Finder.

Many major banks in Canada offer the option to send funds to the Philippines, but they typically charge high transfer fees and offer exchange rates that are significantly lower than the mid-market rate — or the rate banks and transfer providers use when trading among themselves.

A reputable money transfer specialist can often offer better exchange rates and also charge lower fees, saving you money and putting more Philippine pesos into your recipient’s pocket. You can weigh your options from our guide in sending money to the Philippines. Simply enter the amount you are looking to send and click on Calculate to show you a comparison specific to what you need to send.

      Cheers,
      Joel

      Hi there!

      Thank you for contacting Finder.

If you are looking to send money through TransferWise and use your Chase bank account to fund the transfer, please follow these steps:

      1. Register for free online or through the TransferWise mobile app.
      2. Enter your sending amount.
      3. Add the recipient’s bank account information.
      4. Verify your identity.
      5. Pay for your transfer by entering your Chase bank account or debit card.
      6. Track your transfer online or in the mobile app.

As a reminder, when sending money overseas, please take note of the exchange rates and fees as they are subject to change at any time and review the terms and conditions before making a decision on whether it is right for you.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Danielle

I am looking for a straightforward way to see which companies handle which currencies. For instance, I am looking to transfer to a certain country in Africa, and there is no way for me to find a comprehensive list of which transfer agencies provide the service I am looking for. I found one company that did, but I have no way of knowing if the others will handle this currency as well. Obviously, this is a vital comparison function that is sorely missing. I need to be able to search your providers by currency to find which ones will facilitate my transfer. Your site is useful but there’s no way for me to be sure I have looked at all my options.
