How does the Alaska Airlines shopping program work?
Depending on the store, you can earn 1x to 25x miles on eligible purchases. Some stores even offer a batch of miles of up to 5,000. In addition, you can get special offers such as discounts or free shipping. But keep an eye on the offer’s description. It may have some product limitations.
What to watch out for
The program is sensitive to some issues that may prevent you from earning miles. These are:
- Browser cookies. Check your browser to see if cookies are enabled. If they’re not, the program may not register your shopping and you won’t earn miles.
- Coupon codes. Use only the coupon codes offered at the Alaska Airlines shopping program. If you use other companies’ coupon codes you will not earn any miles.
- Clicking out. The program tracks your shopping once you follow the link from the program’s website. If you go to another site in between the program and the store, you may not earn any miles.

How credit cards can help you earn points with Alaska Airlines shopping program
If you’re looking to stack up miles faster, consider using an Alaska Airlines cobranded credit card. This way, you’ll earn an additional mile per dollar on anything you buy.
Alternatively, you can use other reward credit cards that let you transfer points to Alaska miles. For example, the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card lets you earn 2x points on everything you buy and 6x points at Marriott Bonvoy hotels.
