Expert review

Using the Regions Prestige Visa® Signature Credit Card, you can earn unlimited 1x points on everything you buy. You can also save money on interest payments as this card has a long intro APR period on balance transfers and purchases.

Visa Signature also has no annual fee and comes with perks such as roadside dispatch, travel and emergency assistance services and concierge service. But if you rarely use these services, getting a credit card with a higher rewards rate could be a better choice.

Card benefits

  • Signup bonus.
Earn 15,000 bonus points worth $150 in cash after you spend $1,000 in your first 90 days of account opening.
  • Reward points.
Earn 1x points on all purchases. This is a low rewards rate, considering the industry average is 1.5x points.
  • Intro APR period.
Get 0% intro APR period on balance transfers and purchases for the first 18 months when you open your account. After that, a variable APR of 15.24% to 25.24% applies.
  • No foreign transaction fee.
Use the card freely when traveling abroad or when making purchases online with foreign retailers. You won’t incur any foreign transaction fees.
  • No annual fee.
Don’t worry about paying an annual fee for the life of the card.

What to watch out for

  • Penalty APR.
If you make a late payment, expect to incur a penalty APR of 29.99% variable and lose the intro APR period. You need to pay your balance on time for six consecutive months to revert your rate to the standard APR.
  • Balance transfer limitations.
Transfer your balances within your first 60 days to get the 0% intro APR period. Otherwise, the standard APR of 15.24% to 25.24% will apply.
