Priority Pass Chicago lounge locations

Enjoy refreshments and rest at one of two Chicago O’Hare lounges.

Fact checked

If you’re looking for a Priority Pass lounge to rest your bones when flying out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport, you have two options: the Air France – KLM Lounge and the Swissport Lounge. Remember that if you have an eligible credit card, you might already have access to these lounges, provided you sign up for the Priority Pass service.

Air France – KLM Lounge

The Air France – KLM Lounge offers a robust suite of luxuries during your stay, albeit with a few caveats. Namely, you’ll need to stick to the lounge’s “smart casual” dress code, and you can only stay for up to three hours.

You can find the Air France – KLM Lounge at Terminal 5, Concourse M, Gate M7 at the O’Hare International Airport, just next to the Seaway Bank.

You’ll find the following amenities available at the Air France – KLM Lounge:

  • Refreshments
  • Alcohol
  • Telephone access
  • Wi-Fi
  • Air conditioning
  • Newspapers and magazines
  • Access for people with disabilities

Policies and hours

The hours of this lounge range considerably from day to day, so scout ahead when planning your trip:

Monday and Saturday6:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.
Wednesday6:00 a.m.–11:50 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday8:15 a.m.–11:50 p.m.

Depending on crowding and other factors, Air France – KLM may restrict access to this lounge between 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.
Other policies to keep in mind include:

  • Child access. Children under two years old are admitted to the lounge for free.
  • Dress code. Air France – KLM enforces a “smart casual” dress code. This means no vests, shorts, football shirts or baseball caps.
  • Stay limitations. You can only stay in this lounge for a maximum of three hours.

Swissport Lounge

The Swissport Lounge offers a place to rest with more relaxed requirements compared to Air France’s offering. Plus, it offers many of the amenities you’d come to expect from a standard airport lounge.

The Swissport Lounge is also located in terminal 5. To get there, you can turn right after security and look between gates M8 and M7.

Some of the amenities you can expect from the Swissport Lounge include:

  • Television access
  • Refreshments
  • Alcohol
  • Air conditioning
  • Wi-fi
  • Newspapers and magazines
  • Access for people with disabilities

Policies and hours

The Swissport Lounge is open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There are just two days a year when the lounge closes: December 25 and January 1.

Like many Priority Pass lounges, your ability to access the Swissport Lounge may depend on how busy the lounge is when you wish to enter.
Other lounge policies to keep in mind include:

  • Dress code. The Swissport Lounge requires shoes for entry.
  • Child access. Children under four years old are admitted for free.
  • Alcohol restrictions. Only passengers 21 years of age or older may order an alcoholic drink.

How to get Priority Pass

There are two primary ways to become a Priority Pass member and gain access to Priority Pass lounges: purchase a Priority Pass membership directly or gain membership through an eligible credit card. Generally, gaining membership through an eligible credit card is the simplest and most convenient way to access these lounges.
