Please I want to know if money can be transferred from Walmart to a bank account In Nigeria
Hi Kelvin,
Thanks for leaving a question on finder.
Walmart money transfers does not allow you to deposit funds directly into your receiver’s bank account in Nigeria. However, the recipient can pick up the money at any MoneyGram agent locations. You can compare from this page above for other options in sending money to Nigeria.
Hope it helps,
Joel
Is there posdible to get RIA picked at my bank in nigeria. Would the money using directive of where to get it picked?
Hi Jordan,
Thanks for leaving a question on Finder.
Ria’s transfer methods are online, phone, bank account to bank account, and cash transfer. When receiving money, a cash pickup or home delivery will be the fastest method – although both options are dependent upon the payout agent or courier’s business hours. On average, cash pickups and home deliveries are available within the same day.
Their global network includes 350,000 agent locations in 149 countries worldwide. You can send money to many, many different places in Nigeria. They process millions of money transfers each month both online and through their agent locations. You may check out the extensive list of Ria’s send and payout locations.
Please note that, if a money transfer is flagged for review for security reasons, the processing time will take longer. Other things that may slow down processing times include:
– A security review. Since security is our number one priority, we want to ensure all money transfers are legitimate.
– Financial institutions processing times. Timing may vary slightly depending on your bank.

Joel

If I send money to Nigeria through Western Union, do you need a Nigerian ID to pick it up from Western Union?
Hello Tony,
Good day! Appreciate you contacting finder regarding your inquiry today.
Upon checking Western Union page, to receive money at the agent location, the receiver must present the completed “to receive money form” as well as a government-issued ID (where applicable). A Nigerian ID can be used so long as it is issued by the government.
Hope this helps!
All the best,
Ron
a friend from Texas wants to send me money through western union, all they can tell him is that. they are not allowed to send money to Nigeria I wonder why. can him transfer directly to my bank account in Nigeria through money gram?
Hi Starm,
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, MoneyGram is one of the options your friend can use when sending money to you in Nigeria. He can send the money direct to your bank account. If you can refer your friend from Texas to check the options above, that would be great. Please let him know to click on the ‘Go to site’ button so he will be redirected to MoneyGram’s page and process the transfer from there.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
May
