The FIT Mastercard® Credit Card is purported to help you build credit even if you have no credit history. But with a $99 annual fee, 29.99% purchase APR, a $89 process fee and $6.25 monthly fee, it’s hard to recommend this card for that purpose.
Certainly, this card has a few things going for it, like not requiring a credit check and reporting to all three major credit bureaus. But other secured cards offer the same perks with far fewer fees.
If you need to build or rebuild your credit score, there are better choices out there. The number of fees and lack of grace period work against the entire purpose of the card, leaving this a poor overall credit-building card.
Applying for the FIT Mastercard® Credit Card is straightforward online:
You must meet two requirements to apply for the FIT Mastercard® Credit Card:
You don’t need a prior credit history to apply or see approval for the FIT Mastercard® Credit Card. However, a fair or better credit score increases your chances of a higher credit limit.

Weigh the APRs, fees and minimum credit scores required for a range of stronger unsecured cards.
The FIT Mastercard® Credit Card‘s numerous fees keep it from fulfilling its purpose as a credit-building card, even for those without a prior credit history. These fees can cut into an already low credit limit, making it hard to use it for even everyday purchases.
For stronger, friendlier options for building or rebuilding your credit, compare a range of secured cards that can better suit your budget.
