Enjoy drinks at THE BAR and potential access to more than 200 third-party locations.

Updated

Fact checked

Despite Delta’s status as one of the largest airline companies out there, Delta’s Sky Club lounges are largely found only within the United States. Nevertheless, Delta offers quality amenities, and it offers select members a wide selection of partner lounges to help you rest in between flights abroad.

How to get in and pricing

Delta has a rather complex set of rules for gaining access to Sky Club locations. At the most basic level, you have three primary options:

  • Purchase a membership
  • Get complimentary access through an eligible Delta cobranded credit card
  • Gain membership through Medallion tiers

Purchase Delta Sky Club membership

Delta offers two flavors of Sky Club membership. Both can be purchased online through your SkyMiles account.

Membership planRulesOne-year rate
Individual membershipUnlimited access for member only.
Members may bring up to two guests for $39 per guest per visit.
$545 OR 54,500 miles OR $50 for 12 monthly installments
Executive membershipUnlimited access for member and two guests per visit.$845 OR 84,500 miles OR $75 for 12 monthly installments

Eligible credit card access

Certain credit cards offer complimentary SkyLounge access just for being a cardmember. Others might offer access, albeit at a discount. Here’s a list of the credit cards that can help you access this lounge, along with any restrictions you might encounter:

Delta One access

Booking a ticket for a Delta One flight or a SkyTeam Premium Cabin flight grants access to the Delta Sky Club lounge without the need for additional fees.

Delta One passengers will need to travel on a domestic Delta flight or international Delta flight connecting to or from a Delta One international flight.

SkyTeam Premium Cabin passengers will need to travel on a same-day international first or business-class ticket, and confirmed in first or business-class cabin for the international portion of the flight.

Elite membership access

Net yourself a Diamond Medallion membership and you can choose a Sky Club Lounge membership for one of your choice benefits.

SkyTeam Elite Plus members (including eligible Medallion members) are granted access to the club when flying in any cabin on a SkyTeam international flight or domestic flight that connects to or from a same-day international flight.

Virgin Australia Club access

Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum or Gold members can gain access to the lounge if they’re traveling on a Delta or Virgin Australia Airlines flight and can show their membership card.
