Save 20% on eligible pre-purchased meals and select in-flight purchases.

If you’re a frequent Delta flyer, there are a few ways to make the travel experience more enjoyable. For example, with any Delta credit card you can receive statement credits for certain in-flight purchases, including eligible prepurchased meals.

Discounts on Delta in-flight meals explained

On Delta-operated flights, you can receive 20% savings on certain purchases when using certain credit cards. Qualifying purchases include:

  • Eligible pre-purchased meals.
  • In-flight food.
  • In-flight alcoholic beverages.
  • In-flight audio headsets.

These savings come in the form of statement credits. Just make an eligible purchase with your Delta credit card, and you’ll see a credit on your future card statement.

How to get the in-flight-meal discount

  1. Make an eligible purchase.
Use your Delta credit card, or you won’t be eligible for savings.
  2. Wait for Amex to apply your statement credit.
You don’t need to do anything extra to get your discount. Simply look for your statement credit after six to eight weeks once the meal transaction posts to your card account.
