Citi PremierPass Expedia Card Review

This card — offered by Citi, a finder.com advertising partner — has almost three times more points for air travel mileage compared with other cards of competing companies. As well, this card also offers more reward points on your everyday purchases and even on your transportation costs.

One of the special features of this card is its partnership with Google. This is the first credit card to ever use the Google’s banking app, called the Google Wallet, which will enable the cardholders to buy goods and pay their accounts using their smart phones or tablets.

Complimentary insurances available from this card

  • Automatic Travel Accident Insurance. This is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa.
  • Trip cancellation/trip interruption. This is a secondary coverage which is underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc.
  • Retail purchase protection. The Buyers Security SM coverage (limited to $500 per occurrence and $50,000 per cardholder, per year) is excess coverage and is underwritten by Triton Insurance Company.
  • Auto rental insurance. The MasterRental® Insurance coverage (up to $50,000 per incident) is secondary coverage and is underwritten by Virginia Surety Company, Inc.

If you’re a frequent flyer, you may want to consider this card as there are many benefits in terms of reward points, various insurances, travel assistance and the redemption of flight rewards.
