The SBA will only accept applications for First Draw and Second Draw PPP loans from businesses with fewer than 20 employees between February 24 and March 10, 2021. Larger businesses can still submit an application during that time. This round of funding closes on March 31, 2021
The Economic Aid Act passed in late December 2020 launched a new round First Draw and Second Draw PPP loans. The SBA first rolled out applications through community lenders before it became available through all eligible providers on January 19, 2021. First Draw loans are available for first-time borrowers, and businesses that got a PPP loan can apply for a Second Draw loan until March 31, 2021
