Petal launches offers program with up to 10% cash back

Card for no-credit consumers continues to grow its rewards

When Petal launched their rewards program earlier this year, it was something of a surprise since the Petal® 2 "Cash Back, No Fees" Visa® Credit Card carries no fees whatsoever. A no-fee card with rewards is a rarity in the credit card space.

Now Petal is expanding their rewards reach with the Petal Offers program. Under the program, you can earn up to 10% cash back with select merchants when you use your Petal® 2 "Cash Back, No Fees" Visa® Credit Card for offered purchases.

How does the Petal Offers program work?

Petal cardholders will be automatically enrolled in the Petal Offers program – no activation required. To view offers available, simply login to the Petal app on your mobile device and tap Offers to view deals in the program.

Each offer available on your Petal app is specific to a particular merchant and each offer carries its own unique terms and conditions. To earn the rewards, you’ll need to meet the terms and conditions laid out under the offer.

How do I activate the Petal Offers program?

All Petal cardholders will be automatically enrolled in the program. But you’ll need to log in to your Petal app to access the offers.

What types of deals will I find with the Petal Offers program?

The exact types of deals you’ll find under the Petal Offers program depend on the merchant’s terms and conditions. Since the program has only recently launched, we’ll update this section as soon as more information is available.

Petal has listed the current lineup of merchants participating in the Offers program. These include:

  • Athleta
  • Banana Republic
  • Casper
  • Gap
  • Lowe’s Home Improvement
  • Old Navy

Bottom line

The addition of the Petal Offers program puts it one step closer to a more traditional rewards credit card – albeit one without any fees. We’ll keep an eye on the program and update this page as more information becomes available.

If you’re looking for a more traditional rewards card with bigger earning power, compare rewards cards to find one that best fits your needs.
