How to get the Peacock free trial: A step-by-step guide
If you want to experience Peacock Premium, you can give the service a spin for free. Here’s how.
Updated

NBCUniversal’s highly anticipated streaming platform Peacock is now up and running, allowing users to tune in for a generous amount of content without paying a dime.
You’ve read that right: the service offers a free, ad-supported tier, so you can simply sign up with an email address and password and start streaming in a matter of seconds.
The catch? You only get access to a limited number of titles from Peacock’s library. To enjoy everything the platform has to offer, you will need to upgrade to one of the Premium plans available.
Don’t worry, Premium plans come with a seven-day free trial, so you can test-drive Peacock Premium and figure out if it’s for you without paying anything. Follow the steps below and you’ll be off to an excellent start.
How to sign up for Peacock
If you think you will be happy with the free tier, all you need to sign up is an email and a password.
Step 1. Head to the official Peacock website.
Step 2. Click on the big Start Watching Now button.
Step 3. Enter an email address and a password. Your password must be at least 10 characters. Also, remember to check the “I agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy” box. It might be a good idea to actually give those a read before you do. If all good, click on Create Account.
That’s it. You’re in! Hit the Start Watching button and you’ll be redirected to the home screen, where you can browse the library and settle on something to watch.
You’ll notice that some titles are only available with Premium, which is why you might be interested in checking out the Peacock free trial.
How to get the Peacock Premium free trial
There are two types of Peacock Premium plans available: Premium at $4.99/month, which gives you access to the entire library with the occasional ad, and Premium Plus, which is priced at $9.99/month and removes ads completely.
Here’s how to get the Peacock free trial that will let you watch original content, live sports and full seasons of TV series.
Already have a Peacock account? Follow the steps below:
Step 1. Sign in, go to the User button in the top right of the screen and click Account.
Step 2. Click on Upgrade to Premium. You will see the two plans listed side by side. A seven-day free trial is available for both.
Step 3. Click on the Start 7-Day Free Trial button for the plan you’re interested in.
Step 4. In the next screen, you’ll be required to enter your payment information. You can go with a credit card or choose to pay with PayPal.
Step 5. Hit Pay Now. Once you’ve entered your payment information, you’ll have access to everything Peacock has to offer.
Keep in mind that your subscription will auto-renew. In other words, make sure to cancel your Premium plan before the seven days are up if you’re not happy with the service.
Completely new to Peacock?
You can sign up for the free trial directly. Follow the steps below:
Step 1. Go to the official Peacock website. Scroll down until you see the Upgrade for More section. Click on Discover Peacock Premium.
Step 2. On the next screen, click on Start a 7-Day Free Trial. You’ll see all three available plans (including the free option) listed side by side. Click on Start a 7-Day Free Trial for the plan you’re interested in.
Step 3. In the next screen, enter your email and password. Your password must be at least 10 characters. Remember to check the “I agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy” button as well. Click on Create Account.
Step 4. Enter your payment information — either credit card details or PayPal. Click Pay Now.
You won’t be billed if you cancel your Premium plan before the free week is up. Happy binge-watching!
