Otherwise, head to the Microsoft Store website and click on Order tracking at the bottom of any page. On the next screen, you’ll be asked to either log into your existing Microsoft account or create a new one. Once you complete this step, you can view the status of your order.
Microsoft Store accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Microsoft Store balance and gift cards.
To pay using Microsoft store balance, make sure you’re signed into your account at checkout. Then, select the Microsoft account option from the payment options at checkout.
If you have an auto-renewed Microsoft subscription and would like to change the payment method associated with that service, follow these steps:
- Sign into your Microsoft account and click on Services and subscriptions.
- Find the subscription you want to change, then click Change how you pay. Note: if you don’t see this option, it could be that auto-renew is not turned on. Thus, you won’t be able to change the payment method because that means it has already been paid for and will end when it expires.
- Choose a new way to pay from the list, or select Add a new way to pay and follow the instructions.
What is Microsoft Store’s return policy?
Digital purchases such as apps and game downloads are non-refundable, though devices and other items may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase. Find out if your item is returnable by logging into your Microsoft Store online account and requesting a return or exchange.
