The winners of the annual Finder Customer Satisfaction Awards 2024 announced!

February 26, 2024, NEW YORK –

The six winners and highly commended companies for Finder’s annual Customer Satisfaction Awards have been announced.

Finder, a personal finance comparison site, collected more than 2,900 customer responses across the following three categories: banking, savings, and investments.

The survey asked customers how satisfied they were with their provider and if they would recommend it to a friend.

Discover won in our banking customer satisfaction category with an impressive 100% recommendation rate. The highly commended spot for banking was awarded to American Express.

Picking up the award for the savings category is Ally Bank, with 89% of customers saying they would recommend their services. This was followed by CIT Bank as the highly commended brand.

In the investing category, Fidelity triumphs with an impressive 95% recommendation rate. Following closely behind is Acorns, who earned the highly commended spot.

Commenting on the findings, Zak Ali, US Head of Growth at Finder said:

“The true compass for any business is always the satisfaction of those they serve — their customers. That’s the philosophy we’ve embraced at Finder and it’s at the core of everything we do. That’s why we’re excited to announce Finder US’ inaugural Customer Satisfaction Awards. These awards are meant to spotlight those businesses that share our values of being customer-first. With these awards, we’ve turned to the real judges, the customers themselves, to share their unfiltered experiences.”

Methodology:

In December 2023, Finder ran a customer satisfaction survey. A sample of respondents in three categories were asked how satisfied they were with their financial institution and ratings were based on a sample of a minimum of 400 responses per sector. The three categories were: banking, savings and investments. Each brand received a minimum of 30 responses.

The survey asked respondents how satisfied they are with their provider (from one to five) and whether they would recommend the brand to a friend. From this, Finder calculated star ratings and shortlisted the top-performing brands for the awards. When there was a draw on star rating, the recommendation score (that is, the percentage of customers who said they would recommend the brand to a friend) was used to decide the winner.
