Disney+ is the hottest arrival in the streaming TV space since Netflix. The day-one movie and TV line-up is robust. However, there’s a chance the one title you were after is missing like Coco, Thor Ragnarok or National Treasure.
Here’s a list of release dates for legacy movies that didn’t make launch.
What we can’t tell you at this stage is which territories will receive this content on the date in the table below. We know this is the planned release date for the USA only.
And planned doesn’t mean set in stone. Things change. They change all the time in the complex world of streaming TV.
It’s also worth noting that there is a stack of new original content in the works for Disney+. Not to mention cinema-bound blockbusters migrating to the service. Plus, there is a humongous back catalog of TV shows yet to receive release dates, too.
So, this list will bloom. And as dates for these shows come to light, we’ll update the list below. If you’re on the fence about whether or not Disney+ is right for you, check out our review where we break down the pros and cons of the service.
While it was not initially scheduled to be released for another 3 months, Disney has released Frozen II to stream early on the platform, most likely because of the outbreak of COVID-19 requiring people to stay at home. Likewise, because of theaters closing across the country, the new Pixar movie Onward will be getting an early release onto the streaming platform on April 3rd.
