Copy your Contiki promo code to keep it handy while you deliberate between adventures — you’ll use it at checkout. To use your promo code, follow these steps:
Select a destination.
Click Book trip.
Enter your promo code.
Note that some of our special deals will send you directly to Contiki’s discounted tours — no promo code needed.
Why is my code not working?
Make sure your code isn’t case-sensitive, expired or unavailable for the tour you’ve selected. Contact Contiki customer service at 800-591-7390 for help with a specific code. You can also use the online chat service on its website.
Cancellation, refund and ticket or reservation change policies
Reach out to Contiki directly to cancel your trip. Cancellation charges vary depending on the destination and how close you are to the date of departure. Check Contiki’s website for more details.
But if you cancel a Contiki trip on the day of departure or don’t show up at all, you forfeit your refund, regardless of the location.
The good news? Contiki has a Freedom Guarantee that allows you to reschedule dates, swap the tour type or choose a different region without incurring a fee. To avoid cancellation fees, you’re better off rebooking than nixing the trip altogether.
What happens to my deposit if I cancel a Contiki trip?
Contiki’s Flex Deposit ensures you won’t lose your initial deposit if you cancel a trip. Instead, it applies it to a future booking. You can also gift the credit to a friend within five years of making the deposit.
Traveling during COVID-19
The CDC continues to advise caution when traveling within or outside the US, though it no longer requires self-quarantine or a COVID-19 test for fully vaccinated travelers as of April 2021. It recommends that you delay travel if you are not fully vaccinated to protect yourself and your family from getting or spreading the virus.
When traveling, follow safety measures that include wearing a mask in public, social distancing and washing your hands. If you are diagnosed with, have symptoms of or are waiting for COVID-19 test results — or are otherwise at risk of illness — do not attend gatherings or travel for 14 days.

How much does it cost to cancel a Contiki trip to Europe?
If you cancel a Contiki trip to Europe, you won’t get the initial deposit back. Instead, Contiki will save the credit so you can apply it to a future trip.
Cancellation fees vary, depending on how close the date of departure is. Here’s the breakdown:
Number of days until departure
$0, but deposit is not refunded
Date of departure
Note that these cancellation fees also apply to locations in the South Pacific.
Do Contiki trips include plane tickets?
Travel between destinations in the itinerary is included, but you’re responsible for getting to the initial departure location. So if your tour starts in Paris and you live in Chicago, you’ll need to book your travel from Chicago to Paris on your own.
Do I have to pay for a Contiki trip all at once?
No. If you purchase a trip more than 45 days from departure, you only need to pay the initial deposit at checkout. But you’ll need to pay the whole bill at least 45 days in advance.
If you book a Contiki trip less than 45 days from departure, you’ll need to fund the trip all at once.
