Will I earn more rewards if I pay an annual fee?

Yes, this is often the case. However, Barclaycard’s selection of credit cards with an annual fee is limited mostly to airline brands. You can choose cobranded credit cards for:

  • Hawaiian Airlines
  • American Airlines
  • Frontier Airlines
  • JetBlue
  • Lufthansa

Bottom line

Most no-annual-fee Barclaycard credit cards are designed for travel in the form of airline, hotel or cruise line cobranded credit cards. But you can also find rewards cards for everyday spendings, such as dining, for Barnes & Noble purchases and for Apple purchases.

If this selection of cards doesn’t seem appealing enough, check out other credit cards and compare your options.
