What are the benefits?
To receive THC benefits, book a stay of at least two nights at a property with an eligible card.
Many travelers find the most value from these two features:
$75 hotel credit. You can use this for qualifying spa, dining and resort activities.
Room upgrade at check-in. This benefit is subject to availability.
A few secondary features round out The Hotel Collection perks:
3x Membership Rewards points for American Express® Gold Card members. Get this rate for prepaid bookings. Normally, you’d earn just 1x points when booking hotels outside of The Hotel Collection.
5x Membership Rewards points for The Platinum Card® from American Express members. Get this rate for prepaid bookings.
On prepaid bookings, you can use Pay With Points. Apply Membership Rewards points to all or part of your prepaid hotel stay.
How much are Membership Rewards worth?
Membership Rewards points are worth different values depending on what you redeem them for. The standard point value across the credit card industry is 1 point equals 1 cent. Here’s how much Membership Rewards are worth according to the provider website as of January 2019.
