    Can I add more coverage to my policy?

    Most likely. You may be able to add these riders and waivers to your policy:

    • Cancel for work reason coverage. If you need to cancel your trip for work related issues, RoamRight will cover the expenses by providing the same coverage offered for regular trip cancellation.
    • Cancel for any reason (CFAR) coverage. Whether its because of childcare, sickness or simply of change of heart, you’ll be covered if you need to cancel your trip.
    • Rental car damage waiver. Covers the cost to repair or replace a rental car, and pay the charges from the rental company if your rental car is damaged or stolen.

    How can I buy a RoamRight travel insurance policy?

    You can get a quote online. Follow the steps on RoamRight’s website, and enter your address, date of birth, number of travelers, and the dates you will be traveling to get an accurate quote for a policy.

    If you decide to purchase the policy, you can proceed to the checkout.

    When will my policy go into effect?

    Most policies go into effect the day after the plan is purchased, while medical plans are activated on the day of your departure. This means you will be covered for trip cancellation in the period leading up to your trip.

    Who is eligible to buy RoamRight travel insurance?

    Currently, RoamRight insurance only provides coverage for US citizens or permanent residents residing within the US.

    How do I file a travel insurance claim with RoamRight?

    There are four ways to file a claim:

    1. Online. This is the quickest way to file a claim. Log into your RoamRight customer account, and complete the claims form — including the date of the incident and your policy number. You can check the status of your claim once it’s submitted.
    2. Mail. Print the appropriate claim form from RoamRight’s website. Complete the form and mail it to this address: RoamRight Claims Department, Executive Plaza IV, 11350 McCormick Road, Suite 102, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
    3. Email. Send your completed claims form to claims@roamright.com.
    4. Fax. Fax the form to 1-443-279-2901.
