    Pre-existing medical conditions

If you have a pre-existing medical condition, some policies don’t offer coverage. Check each policy offered to make sure they offer the coverage you need. A pre-existing condition is defined as an illness or injury that you, a traveling companion or family member were seeking or receiving treatment for or had symptoms of on the day you purchased your plan, or 120 days before. You may be covered for losses caused by other reasons other than those related to an existing medical condition.

If your policy covers pre-existing medical conditions, you must comply with terms and conditions as outlined in your policy in order to receive coverage.
